Thread: walbro chassis specific?

i found a used walbro 255 pn gss341 on craigslist and was wondering if i can use this on my b13 ser? are the walbros universal or do you have to get the kit specific to the 91-94 sentra?

I'm 75% sure there's a small little plastic adapter for the fuel filter "sock" that puts the filter in the right place and the new fuel filter sock itself that will be missing and is chassis specific.

should be able to fit any walbro to a fuel pump. socks may be different sizes and the tubes and fittings that come with the pump may need modded.

basically just a pump, hose and wiring.

so can i use the stock parts and fit them onto the walbro? theres a walbro 255 on craigslist right now from an eclipse and i'm wondering if i can use it on my b13.

I'm pretty sure you can't reuse the stock parts to make this work right.

the pump is the same you just need a fit kit off ebay.
