Progress report of the salvaging of my wrecked B13
Remember this?
Well... yeah
Sold the trunk lid for $80. The guy gave me his old crappy one from his XE to keep the trunk covered (rains here often). That was nice of him .
You're probably wondering why it's so low to the ground... well, here's why...
Took my brand new tires and rims off (that I got literally just days before the accident :mad and had nothing else... was going to put the car on 4 blocks, but eh, this way the junkers will have an easier time getting it onto the flat bed. Those tires are 10" (iirc?) trailer tires, btw, lol. They fit on the back but not the front (didn't fit over the brakes), so I had no choice but to put the front on blocks.
Oh yeah, we demo'd the front today a bit too. The rad WASN'T punctured at the time of the accident (magical?) however after today the rad dumped itself out from *somewhere* in a matter of minutes . That is, after a lot of this - banging out the frame so that we can get to the alternator that I installed only a few weeks before (guy in the video is my friend, I'm filming):

Here's what the front looked like when we called it quits today:
Note, we haven't gotten the alternator out yet. Still working on getting the frame peeled back.
Here's what the front looked when I got it home the day of the accident:
Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of what the INSIDE looks like, however I'll get that tomorrow. It's a disaster in there, lol. Took out the back seats, the trim, the center console, yadda yadda. Oh, and I sold the hinges to the front driver's side door, so uh, yeah, it's just sitting on there .
Tomorrow should be fun... we'll be trying to bend the frame more away from the alternator so that we have enough room to get it out of there.
