I would use starting fluid, and that only works for manifold leaks. A hose leak is going to require hunting around and visually finding the hose that either wasn't plugged back into the nipple or finding the hose clamp that wasn't put back on. Finding cracked hoses will make you want to punch babies.

If you replaced the IACV, did you change the gasket as well? Did you also remove all the old gasket material before putting the new one on? The old gasket likes to stick to the manifold, and can be a pain in the ass to remove, but you have to to get the proper seal.

Actually, carb clean is one of the top things used to find vacuum leaks.

Brake clean depends on whether it's chlorinated or not...you want non-chlorinated as it's the flammable type. Nothing wrong with using either.

You still didnt tell us if you checked our suggestions, and if you did what the results were. We're not going to keep throwing blind ideas, we're going to troubleshoot.

ok.so no vac leaks. I was told it might be the pcv valve n I swap that one out aswell so now I will try another iacv valve well se how that goes

I had this same problem. I spent A LOT of time trying to figure it out and never could, so i just tightened the throttle cable so there's always a small amount of tension to keep it idling. It's not ideal but has worked for a couple years for me.

Did you check the ECU?
