Anybody done a balljoint while LCA still on car?

So, has anyone replaced the balljoint with the front LCA still on their car?

Removing the control arm is a bitch, is it possible?

I've done it with the ball joint tool.

the tool you rent is sorta weird and it can move a little bit and you have to start over.I took it slow and it will worked.
