B13 cold air intake pics (useful pics for installation)
I want to see pics of how you routed your cold air intake, where you cut the hole, etc...

Dave (red91sr) and I were a little reluctant to cut away, not sure where to go, he thought for sure the battery had to be moved..

I've been toying with this idea as well. Only place I question for us highport guys is the tube off of the throttle body. As far as where it enters the wheel well/fender I've been poking around and it seems pretty similar to the way my maxima is set up.

Not a great pic, but the pipe along the fender continues and has another 90 degree bend that places the filter just below the headlight in the bumper area. The filter is safe from road debris and has easy access with the removal of the front splash shield. Most of all it didn't require any cutting in the wheel well, just some flimsy sheetmetal below the headlight assembly that some metal snips took care of. The B13 looks setup the same way, it's just a little longer setup than ideal.

it looks like you have 2.5" piping, whereas I have 3" piping.. this may be why I'll have to do some cutting.

Yeah, it's 2.75" ID, and the maxima probably has slightly more room there too. Thought it might be worth a look though.

Was thinking about getting an Accord CAI off of ebay to use as a cheap mock up kit. It comes with an S-bend, and a long pipe with a 90 on the end...again I think it's only 2.75" though.

In for pics for some highport setups.

cool, i'd love to see where the actual hole was behind the battery, or is it to the side of the battery?

See the tray? I had to trim it. If you have a 3" system. A 2.5" should fit without disturbing the tray.

I can take a shot of the hole tomorrow. I trimmed just a tiny hair off the battery box. I borrowed a friends saw-zall and it made pretty quick work of things. It is a tight fit with the battery there.
