Possibly buying a B13 w/ GTiR swap for next car...
So whats up guys, my name is RJ and I own a 95 240sx with a stock na ka. I have had many hondas for my daily drivers and my knowledge of car as far as motors go is basic bolt-ons pretty much. I do have a good sense of how a turbo set up works but I was wanting to see what you guys all thought before I buy some thing that will put me to far in over my head.

A friend from my rock climbing class is selling his 93 sentra se-r with a gtir sr20det swap. It has a front mount intercooler and greddy boost controller. I dont know and im not sure if the current owner knows the specifics on the diff that is currently in it all we know is that its an open diff, one tire spins. It has been tuned by JWT. it has been esstimated by current owner to be 230-260 whp range. I havent got to take it out on the high way for my self to see.

Well today for the first time I got to drive it around his neighbor hood. It was terrible. had a slight surging idle. The cable tranny is weird, the clutch peddle felt bizzare. And after running it around for a bit it started chuggin and asking like I was about to kill it like a girl trying to drive stick for the first time. Almost as if the maf got unplugged it couldnt accelerate past 2250 rpms before i had to shift in order to get it back home. He did accidentaly put regular gas and I was told that was the reason so I will know more later when we put premium in there tmrw.

I havent haggled with him yet on the price exaclty but im looking at around 1200-1500$ for it clean tittle fair body, ??? miles. needs some tlc for sure but i can do that. but this is as much as I know at the momment. Any imput would be great to check out when I go look at it again tomorrow. Thanks RJ.
