Didn't start her up yet she's been sitting for months because of an idle problem.the catback i baught from ebay sounded nice and quiet.its a 2.5 cat back.im waiting on the es shifter bracket bushing so i can put everything back together.that and putting bak the upper plentumof the intake manifold since i cleaned out the tb egr anew replaced injection o rings.since i had the time i heat wrapped the headers and half the dp along with high silicone paint since there's no more heat shield.i used oem studs. One came out went i unbolted it. The other one wasn't even there Just half of it buried in the head.that's the one i used this method with

Idle problems are the devil!!! I'll try this method and hopefully be done fitting my header!

I kept the OEM studs, I'm going to go to the dealer tmw and see how much it is for just one.

Don't remember baught them from Greg awhile ago with nuts for the manifold as well along with im iacv tb gaskets.she's been sitting.g since December

Yes it is. The devil i replaced vacuum hoses from hose techniques. Cleaned egr knocksensor replaced. Cleaned air filter new fuel filter pcv valveReplaced broken exhaust manifold stud cleaned tb n intake as much as possible together.replaced starter temp sending unit n plug rear motor mount replaced cleaned maf too So hopefully that would clear the issue

Don't forget the iacv. Also, my .02 on removing broken studs, I just get a washer and a nut and weld the washer onto the broken stud through the center hole, then weld the nut on top of the washer and spray cold water on it to cool it down and they come right out.

A lot of people suggested that!! I'm sure it works amazingly, but unfortunately I don't have a welder or the skills to weld. =[

yeah thats the best way to do it but not everyone has a welder.. I have a old stick welder lol but I'm scared to use it on that

Yep! I got it for ~50 bucks though so I'm not complaining
