It SHOULD, but it depends on quality of work/parts, etc. I just think there's way too many factors for something like that.

Which is where forums come in handy. You can find cars near what you have invested and price yours accordingly.

The bottom line it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. We all know MOST 15-20yr old cars ain't worth squat. But being on these forums, you some people have put their heart and soul into them. Can you put value on that?? Not likely. So, its put up on these forums with the hope that someone will buy it knowing the book value sucks. My 2 cents......

I think the value is in the eye of the owner/buyer.
Ask most people what they think of 191-1994 sentra and they will say POS! without giving it a second thought.

But not us, we dont think like that, so the value is in the eyes of the people...

In my case I will not sell my car not for any price anyone will be willing to pay, why? Because its my 4 year old "car/life" project, I stayed in weekends, missed parties, skipped a few lunches when needed, to try and make it the way I wanted, I restored it after a crash, I got emotionally attached to it, and no money can replace that.

Right-O! I don't care what KBB or NADA says about the price of any vehicle.. jetski.. motorcylce.. etc. I sold a 2003 Sea-Doo GTX RFI which NADA said was worth 4100 for 5500. how did i do that? i found a guy who really wanted to buy it! hahaha. Whatever you have for sale is not worth what some website tells you. I own a 1989 BMW 325i which i bought for 800 dollars. I painted it and swapped an M50 into it... and someone offered me 3000 for it. It didnt even have for sale signs on it!

i guess bottom line what im trying to get at it is.. what youre selling is worth as much as the market deems. In an enthusiast market... your car might be worth a lot, but to a random guy off the street looking for a car... its not worth nearly as much. If you find the right market, youll get the right price.
