Thread: What Did You Do To Your B13 Today?

Made a 626 hybrid lip

Drove to work and back, then some errands for a little night cap. Each time, always closing the door with my smile in the reflection of the window staring back at me.

Got a new header and gave it some paint to help keep it from rusting.

did a little wrenching to make the exhaust more proper, swapped back to 6" velocity stack and fixed an oil leak I thought I fixed last week. Yesterday I undid the passenger front suspension and axle. Knocked off the abs ring on the axle and inspected the suspension and knuckle/hub. Needs a new wheel bearing which is now ordered

My brother has been telling me since he got here that he wanted to detail the B13 saying that he could bring back the shine on that paint.
I was skeptical(and those who have seen my bucket know what I mean..lol) so I let him have it. Turned out pretty decent IMO, still needs a paint job, but I like how it looks!


EDIT: We also painted the side moldings and the bottom rocker flat black because the gray was really faded

scheduled an alignment for today. will need to schedule another one this weekend after i do the wheel bearing. firestone lifetime alignmnet ftmfw!

Been working on getting my B13 back together after paint as many of you know....shes finally starting to look like a car again,but still a long way to go.

My buddy @Tearoffguy stopped by over the weekend and did my fogs with yellow film for me.He did these headlights/corners a few years ago in light smoke when they were new.It offers good protection for our stupid bugs here in FL and has help up amazingly well over the years.
Since the front end is mostly there we hung the bumper for a teaser pic of basically what my front end will be like minus a lip of some sort...(nevermind the hood looking crooked,there was a rag in there on the pass side stopping the hood from closing right,it all lines up perfectly though)

replaced the leaking manifold gasket with a factory nissan part, replaced broken manifold stud, welded cracked xspower manifold and cleaned it up a bit

Drove it to work. Washed it on my lunch break. Cleared out my belongings after dinner. Collected all the parts/paperwork included with the sale and put them in the trunk. Backed it into the garage and put the cover on it for the last time.

Put all the keys on one ring and retrieved the title from the filing cabinet. Awaiting arrival of the new owner...
