Pops Frontier has pelts. Moms Saturn Sky has hail pelts on the front hood and trunk. My B13 took a small pelting on the hood.

Thanks, mutha-nature, mutha-fuckah.

Can I dislike a post? This happened to mine less than a year after purchase. Thank you white, for hiding imperfections.

All in all it's a nice piece for less than $18 bucks on eBay.

Just a heads up before you find out the hard way...
You should go check my thread on this...because I did this a while ago.
That will not work like that...go ahead and try to screw a filter on it you will see what I mean. That coupler needs to be measured and cut to work, its too tall the filter stops before it is even close to sealing.

BTW mine is holding up great after about 8000 miles so far including last years convention track days.

You are spot on I thought I was doing something wrong or I was sent the wrong adapters for my car. After about 2 hours tonight of changing things around and trying to figure it out, I came to the conclusion that I need a longer filter (longer from top to bottom) - I wonder if there are any that will thread with these.

Which of the two brass/gold colored fittings needs to be cut and how much?

the fitting that fits your filter is the one you use, they give you 2 because its universal. My post has all the info I have in it already thats why I posted the link so I didnt have to try to explain it again.lol

Even if you could find one,a longer filter is not gonna solve it,as you will see in my thread also theres a clearance issue with firewall and PS lines if its too tall. I used a K&N for mockup

I have the VE, no issues with the firewall as its a different location, tons of room..

All I saw specifically in that thread (though I skimmed it) was that you cut one of the adapters a half inch. Which one? Bigger one or smaller

The removal of the power steering and lines will help with clearance on a VE with a sandwich plate and oil filter attached. I have the GlowShift sandwich plate with fittings for oil pressure lines and oil temp & pressure. Holding up well after 2 years of road racing. Their fitting was SR20 RR specific so it fit the VE perfect. Hate to see you cut the universal to fit but you definitely have to ensure a leakproof seal or it will be a potential headache to control. Don't want to see you lose a motor making it work.

I knew that. I have P/S but no AC. I have to use a short Mobil 1 M108 filter to clear the P/S lines with the sandwich plate. Your lack of lines will make your choice of filters easier, just make sure they have a good seal and have the same thread pitch as your adapter fitting when you shorten it.
