Couldn't remember the last time I had her out so I took off to Pep Boys then up the street to Staples. 5 mile round trip.

Got started on my winter plans for Raven yesterday and today. First thing is the Prothane solid motor mounts I've been waiting all year to install, but couldn't do so because it would have made the car illegal for the various Stock-class stuff I was running. Now that she's not going to be stock anymore, all is fair game!

I am starting with the driver-side motor mount and am currently working on getting all of the old rubber crap out of the metal bracket.

Ah! I appreciate the input. I just found a How To: thread about installing the Prothane mounts and see what you're talking about. Looks like I need to hammer a thin screwdriver or punch and bend out that metal inner sleeve you mentioned. That will save me a bit of wasted time on the remaining mounts.

Like A Boss, the 88,000 mile B13 is safe again...
Blanky secured. I hope Jack Frost enjoyed those five encounters with the car since it was one of the rare ones and won't happen again as long as I own the car.

5 layer Coverite brand from Pep Boys. I had a few gift cards and it had a mail-in rebate special for another $20 back.

A perfect fit, the elastic goes around front and rear bumper covers very well and the fit is perfect. I removed the antenna and closed my side view mirrors. There is a strap in the middle that goes underneath the car that has a small buckle to secure the cover to the top of the car. I am happy and I feel a million times better now.

Started putting the XE back to stock anticipating trading it in. Pulled the stereo, sub, S13 steering wheel, SE-R seats, fogs and warm air intake. Still have to swap out the Tsuru bits and pull all 4 Polk speakers, maybe tomorrow...

Drove the XE this evening, in the snow and without a radio. It was actually kinda nice.
