This x2. I dunno why driving a stock SE-R is more fun than most modified ones but it is a fun car to drive, straight outta da box!

I drove it for about a half hour and came back home. When I came back in, Richard said go look in the mirror and I start to wonder why. Maybe some dirt on my face. No dirt on my face, just a rather large, shit-eating grin.

I love driving mine stock as it is. I make a trip to the store for milk an experience....hey look random construction cones, cornering? check!!

I've said this many times and will continue to, but it is amazing what joy this damned little "econobox" brings. I love it as much now as I did 20 years ago. Actually even more with the nostalgia added in.

I've got a couple of theories. One, the simplicity of a B13 SE-R is endearing in itself. The old Car and Driver ads were spot on, it was a "modern" interpretation of the classic BMW 2002, and I'm not sure there has been one since. This leads us to the second, this car is an absolute over achiever by any measurement. In pure stock form, this car performs far better than it ever would have been expected to, and there lies it's real beauty. 1994 Motor Trend "Bang for the Buck" said that with only 140hp and with all the aerodynamics of a refrigerator, it flat out ran away from other cars costing thousands more. (Don't quote me, that's from a compromised memory at best, but should be close). I still got that issue if needed for future reference at a later date. But yeah, we agree gentleman.

It stayed in the garage nice and warm as it was icy rain today. So yeah, no driving the sentra for me.
