doing my swap from a ga16de to sr20de but came up on a stupid harness issue by the tranny.

I heard you cant mix that with coolant you have to use distilled water instead of coolant how true is that?

Replaced altenator

Found out it has a coolant leak and gas leak

It has the directions on the back lable. I mixed it with coolant but only used 1/4 of it.

Spent all day saturday painting it...satisfied with the results but still needs clear so its maybe 15 footer at the moment..lol

Not true at all. Been running water wetter with a coolant/water mix for 8 years.

installed my new distributor and installed the aem cas into it. Then set the base timing on the ve-t motor again.

I spent saturday at a friends shop(BSE) mocking up a Rear Mounting Alternator BRACKET.. it came out great!..
we were able to use my original power streering belt adjustment bracket, SE-R alternator and alt belt..
we can make these all day.it will work on DE,DET,VE,low port and high port with a little Modification.it will not work with a VE oil filter housing.
LMK what you think..
The only real modification needed was to cut one of the ears on the alternator.
