Finally got around to purchasing some 10watt 10ohm resistors for my injectors to help eliminate factors attributing to the running rich problem. Pressure tested intercooler pipes and fixed a few new boost leaks. Swapped back old BOV light spring to fix a compressor surge problem and arranged plans for dumptube and BOV recirc. bung to be made hopefully this week. The intercooler I was primarily using was used, leaking, and was fucking so big that it just wasn't practical for my setup. So I swapped it out with a new, regular size more practical intercooler.

I got in a set of Depo Tsurus and did this with them:

The conversion was done with Morimoto Mini D2S projectors from theretrofitsource.com. They're bi-xenon lamps with the cutoff on a servo. I used their "Apollo" shrouds and trimmed them to fit the housing. Ended up turning out really well.

The ballasts are proper German-made Hella 35W units, not cheapies. I had them sitting around (along with a pair of D2S bulbs) from a set of rally lights I upgraded to 55W HID.

Me too. These aren't my first retrofit.

Drove the SE-R 25 miles to meet up with the original owner for lunch. Sat down, ate and shot the shit for 2-1/2 hours. Good time!
