Check the block and head for straitness. Then run the vet metal gasket from gspec. Pretty much the best gasket right now.


I installed my old fpr. (Swaped another one i before thinking that was the problem.) As i get ready to replace the fuel pump later this week.

Drove it 350 miles today.AC pumping,tired old de still gettin 30mpg on 87 octane...woot.

Had the car "running" cant get it to idle at all, have to feather the throttle to keep it from dying. But took a little spin around parking lot...me likey the power

Put nx2k front brake setup. stops much better but waiting for ss brake lines to put my rear disc on and se-r m/c...drums suck. Also ordered walbro 255 and getting nismo fpr for the stock sr20de-t ill be getting put in this month hopefully. Just need ecu

Is that Brian Chang's old B13? He used to be on the SE-R list many years ago, it looks very clean just like his did. Same wheels tool I think. Good work

I rebuilt the entire engine and got it ready to install for tomorrow.








99 DE block, VE oil pump conversion, high port head, 2 angle valve grind, new rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, arp head studs. I have a VE valve cover for it also, but I still need to clean it some more. Had trouble getting all the bead blasting glass out of the pcv channels. I didn't get pics of it completely assembled. Spaced it haha. This was just a quick rebuild for now till I can gather the parts for my spare VE that I'm gonna build for boost.
