Spent a good portion of the morning going over the car to find all those little things that break over time and made a list of everything I need to return the car to it's beautiful stock condition....I miss the feel of the leather shift knob

Call Greg V, get the black leather Z31 (32?) knob. It screws on, does not rattle, is nicely weighted, OEM Nissan, and has the right shift pattern on top. Love it.

I pulled out my Optima Red Top which was dead, according to both my car and my battery charger. Took it back to AutoStoned. Got a free, under warranty, replacement and bought a brand new trickle charger, because now I don't trust my old Sears unit.

Gonna drop in the new Red Top and take the Classic for a spin today.

man I got one of that mount and I couldn't freaken get the crossmember to bolt up, so I sold it.

Anyways I did a tune up on my baby gave her a nice shower and took her for a nice drive to the bank.

Big flat head screw driver and I had to bolt the cross member in place with the rear mount bolted up. Took some time but I got it to line up.

Dude your car is a rarity. A bone stock SE-R these days is almost becoming more of a head turner then a modded one.
I recently looked at pics of mine when I bought it new back in 1992 and I kind of miss that stock look and feel.
Funny you mentioned the leather shift knob, I was thinking of ditching mine for an OEM leather too! Wonder if Greg V will ship two for the price of one...

Took pictures of it for insurance reasons because we were supposed to get hit by a hurricane. (SC is now supposedly in the clear)
