Basically my foot is straddling the two pedals directly. With the toe shoes I didn't have the sturdy sole of the shoe to keep my foot and toes from bending inward and folding in on itself and I lose placement on both pedals pushing through to the firewall.
Would you agree this method might be a bit tough?
With the toe shoes I have to do
a more traditional approach with most of my toes and the ball of my foot on the brake, and then pivot and cant my foot to the side at an angle to get the right side of the ball of my foot to the accelerator pedal. Or even use the arch of my foot on the accelerator, or the heel in the case of the Beetle or other cars with huge gaps between the pedals.
How do you perform with flip-flops?
