I pmd you about those Nissan ones you found in the beginning of May! If it's those sets you shared pictures of, then I'm definitely interested!

Replaced the alternator with a b15 unit. The positive post placement was way too close to the eBay tri-y and was soaking up heat causing it to slowly die (ve alternator, ve motor) This was identified by a whining noise coming from the alternator and watching voltage drop to the low 13s with the lights on.

Didn't die completely and didn't get stranded. Got it before it became a real problem.

I know this, it's why I went with a b15

Idle is better and the car pulls a little smoother now. Stereo sounds better and my cheap-o sub sounds a bit better/tighter

Speaking of the sub, I've got everything tuned to an almost acceptable level, and it does exactly what I want it to do perfectly. If anyone is looking for a cheap all in one sub/amp/enclosure combo that will fit under b13 seats the Rockville 8" on Amazon is hard to beat

I had great success using the trash bag method but the solution I used was 50% 409 and 50% dawn liquid soap & water. Steel wool and elbow grease worked best for me in removing the old glue...size 000 or 0000 steel wool.

The striker seems to be used for a wide variety of cars, and it's tough to get a full list since other part numbers are superseded to this one.

I30 96-99
Maxima 96-99
Altima 93-97
Sentra 91-99
200sx 96-98
240sx 96-98
NX 91-93
Stanza 93-97

The cover seems to only be listed for:
370z 09-12
GT-R 09-15

But it fits like a glove.

I got the idea from this guy - http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/tmickie/56830466.html

I did another round of windex/trashbag yesterday, and it went much better than the first time around. The window cooled down too much before I got every bit from the edges, but it's 99% clean rather than 20% after the first round.

Successfully replaced my fuel rail with new-ish injectors, fresh allen head bolts, fresh pintle caps...

Only to be unsuccessful at figuring out my cyl #1 misfire.

Going to check my #1 injector harness wiring next.

Bleh. Feels like this car has been sitting forever, with everything else in my life taking priority.
