I think the image host is rotating the image awkwardly

Started making cables for battery relication back to front, but on passenger side.

Gonna replace that bottle and probably do something about my apparent power steering reservoir leak.


Done. Just need to make the hold down.

Made a battery tray, replaced power steering rubber hose bit because it was leaking.

Don't forget the all-important engine-to-chassis grounds when moving the battery around. I think here are 3 (+1 for the exhaust) from the factory, and you should retain similar.

Oh I have them already. Im moving the battery from the trunk to pass side front. Grounds were already there.

What did I do? Rewiring on ecu plug. Redid the fuel pump relay ground, moved some pins for coil on plug conversion + 62/63 ECU from S13 + nismotronic.

Got as far as ecu is now connected. Battery is out of the car and on a charger, will go over my tune tonight and try starting it tomorrow with a battery at 100%

Completed battery tray work and its finalized

Plugged in laptop, selected "upload tcd to nemu"

Inserted key, turned ignition.

On the nemu side, i am not using a general output to control the fans. Im using the stock ac function and setting it up using ect as the trigger for on/off. This leaves general output 2 open so intake and exhaust can be controlled independently if one so desires.... or make it into something else... water meth maybe.

1st try... started faster than the dizzy ever has. Need to set base timing still.

Rewired ficd solenoid so it kicks on with fans and i dont stall out from the rpm drop. This replicates the AC circuit in s13 and b13, but runs fans instead. S13 ecu has its quirks in a b13 to get it to run nicely. Need to test this "fix" today and reset base timing or check it. The laser marks on the pulley are friggin hard to see what the values are. Need to see it in a static location first so i am oriented with the marks and have absolute confidence in the timing.

Replaced 2x 10" ebay special chinesieum with 1x 12" spal pusher made in italy. (1/2 amp draw, cools just as fast if not faster)

Rewired maf plug with new one

Removed the ficd circuit i made by removing the AC relay. Car does not stall out after replacing the maf plug (broken right at the pin connector) then turned off the damn dtc mask which would have given me a clue and saved some time.

Car runs great-ish. Aac not working though, not getting power and cant seem to trace the ground either. Idle is low when cold as a result. Bummer.... grabbed my spare connector and ran new wire into the cabin. Will put a new pin on it and re-pin 113 for aac control and tap the 12v that is feeding the adc box to complete the setup. Its not the fuse, seems no power past the fuse and its location.... nah. Not dealing with it... time to side step and do a better wiring job than factory. Not going to cut a single factory wire.
