Makes up for not having my koyo radiator in. At some point I will get things changed so the koyo fits again.

Wow 15 degrees? What are you using to measure (what brand or type of gauge) - I assume this was a water temp gauge - also did the stock temp needle move down at all too?

I am very interested in anything that can get me down even 10 degrees in my B13. I already flushed the radiator for the upcoming season and got rid of the Tsuru grille (everyone says they block some airflow) - run only distilled water and 1 bottle of Redline water wetter, added a brand new fan (old pass one was being tempermental) - new thermostat, new upper and lower hoses and clamps, no A/C and run ONLY the heat on settings 2-3 usually with the intake setting from the engine, and I still tend to towards the warm side when it's above 80 degrees. Where did you get the hood, or did you make it?

Oh and since this is the "what did you do to your B13" thread, I changed my switch from red to blue, most things in my interior are blue including the CD player and the gauge cluster so red didn't make sense.

BTW- for those of you who are attentive to detail, YES that is in fact a HVAC from a 1992 G20 in my B13 SE-R

THe G20? Well first off, the intensity setting harness AND the A/C harness is the same, plugs right in. The other stuff gets more complicated. The cold/hot switch uses the same as the standard B13 by pulling/pushing a wire. The button pushing thing for air on the face or feet etc. is a work in progress.

Remember the B13 Sentra GXE had the G20 HVAC so its not all that hard. But its not something I'd do if you have a hundred other things to work on. I did it over the winter when it was snowing everyday and the car was in the garage for 4 months.

I was watching my temps from the after market water gauge(depo). I know about where my temps sit depending on what the ambinet temp is. it only got up to 180 after sitting in traffic and came down below that after driving for a few minutes. hood is made by tc sportline.

TC sportline, got it. Checking that out now. May I ask, what were the outside temps when you first tested it at the time?

mid 70's when I drove the car. I also drove the car hard to get it hot but it did not get over 160 deg until I was sitting in traffic. it dropped to 173 after a few minutes of driving. I did not have my laptop plugged in so I did not data log. I will be testing in hotter temps over the next week and will be logging data.
