After 3 month hibernation, went for a short drive to the gas station, put some gas, drove it back home. BUT, I need a new battery . I guess good things don't last forever. But I can't complaint, after 10 years of service . And no, I did not leave the battery connected to the car for that long.

Corner balanced the car after the new suspension(wow what a lot of work) but now have a perfect 50% cross balance. And put on the new wheels. Now for an alignment and I'll be ready for the scca licensing school next week

Wait a minute! 3 month hibernation? Why, did it get down to 50 degrees? Lol.

Just cold rain, lol! I'm waiting for those sunny days like today, to take her for a longer ride.

Installed my new clutch, sway bar end link bushings and gspec coolant hoses. Also prepped the radiator support for removal and installation of the new unit.

Installed new electronic fuel pressure gauge and found that either my nismo fpr is done or the new aem fuel pump is jacked. In any case I ordered another aem fuel pump and another nismo fpr. Picture of the new gauge layout. This also caused me to push my dyno session back by a week.

Spent a quiet moment in the garage with her and wished for spring to come soon so I could taker her out for a run. It's been too long.

I always have a soft spot for four-spoke wheels. Very nice!

Yesterday I decided to finally tackle the car's minor oil leak. After investigating, turns out it's just the oil pan gasket after all! No premade gasket for these so RTV must be used, which we all know is extremely fun to work with. Once I let it cure, torque the pan bolts, and refill the oil to make sure the leak is fixed (or at least not made worse for the time being), it will be time to tackle the second Solid Polyurethane motor mount! This is the second of four, and the second of the three "more difficult" ones. Next one I will have to drop the crossmember.

-------------------------------

This is Raven's naughty bits. Underneath Raven's naughty bits is a clean and dry garage floor. Above the clean and dry garage floor is an oil pan that's not coated in leaked engine oil for once. About 24 hours after the RTV gasket cured and I refilled the engine oil, still no leaks. Success!

-------------------------------

This whole "having a garage" thing has completely transformed my life and I can't get over it. Last winter I was changing struts on this same car outside, with a high temperature of 15F before wind chill. Rolling on a creeper in the snow isn't fun either. Now I just walk downstairs, turn up the radio, crack open a beverage and get to work. When the time comes to buy a home, I want to get a "Construction Loan" and build an exact replica of what I live in now. It's just that perfect.
