Thread: 3rd brake light.

ok so i have an se-r which is now wingless.that means my car no longer has a 3rd brake light. ive been told by a person or 2 that its a ticket. but many others have told me its not. i live in california so if a few can fill me in. what do you guys do who are also wingless? thanks

Wouldn't think that it would be a ticket since your main rear brake lights work. Check with CHP or the local MVD where they do safety inspections for cars that are being registered from out of state. Cali is pretty strict in a lot of visual inspections.

you can always find a normal b13 an take the 3rd brake from it.. it plugs right in an there should even be holes already there to mount it.. but u prolly need to grab the rear interior / speaker cover thingy also..

oh alright thanks. yeah my se. didnt have the rear deck hole but my se-r does. its like a cover for where the 3rd brake light goes. i shall hit the junk yard again tomorrow. i seen today a MINTT 91 xe like it came out of the dealership sitting untouched. i mean nothing in that car had a single stain. it even smelled new haha. not to mention it had 208,xxx miles
