Thread: wheels?

has anyone tried fitting a set of wheels close to (16x7.5+14front & 16x8.5+14rear)?

highly unlikely someone here tried it, but they should fit with no clearance issues if you run coilovers anyway. i don't remember how everything fits with a stock setup. they might poke out a bit too.

my only concern is the rear rubbing agains the coil and how much poke there would be..

i thried this with a 195/45/16 tire..

if you run coilovers i would suspect that there would be no rubbing. i will tell you right now i entered my wheel specs and it said they would not fit, but the funny thing is they do fit.

i would suggest to just try fitting them if you can. if they poke out more than a what a couple degrees of camber can make look like they fit i would say to pass.

first time i've said it, haven't even put up pics either. they are 16x9 et30. i have a 5mm spacer in the rear just for comfort. and about 1.5-2° camber.

I think a few people have fit 15x8 with 0 offset. which is sort of close to what you're talking about. They poke like a motherfucker but it can be done. Your size in the rear seems like a tough call though. Excited about understeer?

Ya those 0 offsets have retarded poke though.. I'm also going to install some components to reduce understeer..

I want to see pics of the rims guys Im going to do rims kinda the same size and I would like to see what they look like on the car
