Thread: Picture request for 93 sentra

So im trying to find since the 93 up was digital speed instead of cable right? I need engine bay pics of where the wire comes out of and where it plugs into, ive searched and cant find anything, and one of my buddies told me its not cable but electronic? Not sure if true or not, but i need pictures, im tired of using my damn tom tom for a speedo.

This might sound crazy but if you remove your instrument cluster and inspect your connection, sometimes giving it just a jiggle or cleaning off the contacts will help, happened to me once.

93 and 94 were electronic speedos. There was no speedo cable going from the tranny through the firewall to the cluster. It runs with the rest of the wiring harness to the ECU and then from there to the cluster.

The sensor is on top of the tranny underneath the throttle body on the back of the tranny. It's in the exact same place as the older speedo cables are.
