Thread: Removing trunk spoiler

So im trying to get rid of the spoiler.i cant seem to find any screws that would actually go into the trunk? i know that the center is loose where the 3rd brake light goes, because water goes in my trunk and also i would like to go wingless. any help?

There should be some holes on the underside of the trunk lid that will give you acces to the bolts. I know this because i had to tighten them one time.

Honestly the best way to do this is to buy a wingless trunk of the same color at the junk yard and swap your inner and outer tail lights. $100 max and then you don't have to fill and paint the holes. And if you're super ambitious, you can even look for an SE/SE-R out there and swap the center tails from one of those and just plug and play.

Crossed my mind plenty of times but in the yard I used to pull from the only Maroon one was the newer 93-94 color and not my 91-92 AH3 Maroon.
