the sound deadning doesn't seal the car from the outside environment so I don't see why it would let exhaust fumes in if your exhaust is properly routed, and not leaking.

honestly I wouldn't roll any other way the sound deadening is useless come on these are freaking sentras not bentleys

Not much more noise, but if you`re going to do this you may as well strip the whole car out!

I have done it in a 2 dr and 4 dr b13. I don't even know if it was even 30 lbs. My theory is every lb counts. It's not so much my thing anymore though.

i thought about removing my deadening...but havent been able to decide if its actually worth it or not

removing the material in the front floorboards did leave 2 or 3 holes straight thru to the bare naked streets on each side

^ that too is why i have yet to remove mine, dont know if it might cause me more problems than good......+ im boosted i could make up for weight by turnibng up the boost

happend to me too i got lil hoe's everywhere .to remove i used a tourch and a scrapper came aqloose like butter.I removed close to 48 lbs

i have been wondering if the factory deadening was heavier than aftermarket deadening material? i thought about removing the factory to put in aftermarket
