removing carpet
alright so i bought a 91 se-r a few days ago for 500!!!! im very happy since this is my first se-r i had a 92 se i was doing a conversion on but eeh just didnt feel like a real se-r would i guess so the car WAS filthy got it all cleaned up except for the carpet i removed seats everything but stuck on how to remove the center console a little help would be appreciated thanks

ok. first that was the longest run on sentence ever.

If I understood it correctly, you're trying to remove the carpet to clean it. Front two seats are out. you also have to remove the bottom of the back seat because there are a couple screws holding down the carpet there. Also the side panels because the carpet if retained behind those as well.

T remove the center consol, there are a couple screws on both side of it. Then I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of wiggling it loose. There's also a couple small retaining clips up near the dash I believe. I'm pretty sure the door sills need to be removed too for they also hold down the carpet.


That should get you on the right track.
