Sentra Shutting off

My buddys sentra keeps shutting off when he puts it into neutral. Plus cant keep an idle until its warmed up. Is there anyway to fix these 2 things? please let me know. thank you

Sounds like a TPS (throttle Position Sensor) or could be a MAF sensor

If he lives where there is rust, try grounding the engine really well before you mess with anything else. Then I'd go to the Idle air control valve. Then vacuum leaks, clean throttle body, MAF, etc.
