True, but iirc there is also a metal cross piece that will need to be removed...I believe it's what the glove box mounts to - x2 10mm on each side, no biggie. And after I removed everything and inspected, it looks like the 'black box' should come out first (before blower motor housing) but will seem stuck because of the rubber seals. I had pulled the blower motor, which required me to unbolt another shiny box on the far right side (possibly for the ABS)...and had every mounting bolt out before I started applying more 'force' to the situation.

side note: for those with stuck fresh/recirc doors...drop the blower motor and use something to pull the door open, like a right angle pic or something...mine was simply stuck.

I never removed the metal support to change my heater core earlier this year, but I did use your guide as a reference. Thanks for posting it up.
