how do you remove the rear wing?
eventually i want to paint the car an i want to remove the wing when i paint.. plus i need to fix the center screw thing cause its not holding anymore..

i can see 3 screws, two outter ones an one middle one, is that all there is? also i cant tell what type of screw they are.. anyone know whats up?

there 2 on each side and i think one in the middle...the wing has adhesive on it to hold it to the trunk also so u have to pry both sides up but try to be as gentle as possible beacuse u dont wanna dent the trunk

so only 3 tiny scews eh lol.. any idea what kind? they look like the star shape kind..

They should be torx screws about a T-15, and yes, the adhesive is very strong so be careful, use a heat gun if you have one, it will melt the adhesive making it easier to remove.

Try and park the car in the sun for a few hours so it gets nice and hot. I called over one of my buddy's and we yanked the hell out of it until it came flying off.

Do what he said^^^^ use a heat gun around the pedastals on the trunk itself, not the wing. it will loosen the adhesive bond and make it alot easier to get off.

If the adhesive is the same stuff as what holds the tails in, DEFINITELY get a heat gun, take your time with it, and be prepared to strong arm it lol

i had to rip mine off! only way it came off.
