having a tough time installing SSAC
from what i have gathered this install should be pretty easy. for some reason im not able to follow suit. how do you remove the stock down pipe with the egr tube still attached? do i need to pull that off first, and if so i use vice grips right? second question is how do i pull the other sensory pipe from the far right primary thats attached basicly at the flange? vice grips too? obviously i dont have all the right tools which is probably making this a lot tougher.
Im planing and blocking the BPT so the egr doesnt function, that means i can block off the egr tube on the manifold correct?

You need spanners and sockets. If you use vice grips to undo things you'll very likely damage the nut and you won't get it off. The EGR pipes are usually pretty tight. The sensor is the O2 sensor, you need to retain that so using vice grips on it is not a good idea. Maybe take it to a workshop to get it done or ask around your buddies see if they have some proper tools you can borrow.

I got mine off with 22 and 24 mm wrenches and some liquid wrench. Use heat if you need to (propane torch).
