I hear what you're saying, but honestly, the people that would have a problem with it, are already offended that someone would even drive a Japanese car.
....and for the record, the Kamakazi was not used at Pearl Harbor.
I don't mean to nitpick but it's kamikaze not kamakazi. Kamikaze mean divine wind and is a term the was created when a great storm prevented mongols from invadeing japan by sea. Kamakazi would loosely translate into teapot houswork. Not a real term obviously.
Also I had wanted to do a similiar paint scheme before modeled after ww2 Mitsubishi rei-sen or zero planes but it's just too plane and nobody would get it lol. Here are other correct piant jobs found on japanese zero planes sorry I'm on my phone and can't img tag so here is the URL https://www.fiddlersgreen.net/aircraft/Mitsubishi-Zero/IMAGES/variations-mitsubishi-zero.jpg
^^^
We picked the first one originally, because it was the best compromise of being an interesting paint scheme, but being easy enough to do on his own with rattle can paint.
