b13 motor mount replacements
hey is there a thread showing how to do this? i tried searching but no cigar.

im having trouble removing the black stock inserts, and i would like to know the easiest way to pop those prothane red ones in. this thing is sooo annoying.

Theres no way you searched.
I will help you out,though.
You need to burn out the old rubber,chisel out the "ring" or use a press to get the old one out.
Your choices are a Vice or press,and soapy water.
Otherwise you need to rig up one of the above.
Thishas been covered many times...

lol thx a lot bro but i did and there are just a lot of unrelated stuff like ppl selling mounts and other stuff but i didnt find something like what you just told me

so i got the rubber out and you said to remove the inner ring?

yup,get a chisel and bend the ring in or a hacksaw,sawzall to cut slices in it to get it out.
Be creative.It needs to come out with minimal damage to the outer part.

lol yeah no way u searched, there are like 5 threads that i used when i did mine. I hope u have a press or these are gonna be a B**** to install

There is still a metal ring in there to remove.
