Who here is gutted?
I've had the thought bouncing around in my head for quite some time. A lot of the Honda camp that I know have their cars gutted to hell. The cars are pretty much raw with no a/c, PS, bumper supports, sound deadening, most of the interior, etc.

It is my daily for now but plan on getting myself into something else for daily duties. How much does your car weigh in at? Mine came in around 2,580. I want to shave some weight out of this bish.

I roll with no interior at all except for a dash and front seats. No audio equipment or audio wiring, all the tar removed. It's a very different experience. You just have to love the sound of your car.

I've been thinking it over. I have G20t seats in the car now which are heavier than stock as well as a system in the trunk and crap like that.

I was going to gut the rear bumper support but not sure how I could get it to mount flush. I think I may do it. I think low 13's should be easy all motor once I get a few hundred pounds out of this thing.

OK Heres what you should do...
Start your lawn mower, put it next to a metal garbage can,and climb in.
Thats what it will sound like inside your car....LOL

I had my SE-R half gutted for one day. It wasn't that bad. BUT I only have an intake. My Walbro was a lot louder though.

I have everything removed from behind the two front seats. All back seats, panels, headliner, and unused wiring has been removed. All sound tar has been scraped and there is nothingin the trunk except for the battery. But the dash is complete and carpet is still there.
Is is loud? yes. good luck trying to have a confersation. Especially with my 3" side exit.
Oh, I also have no stereo, no alarm, and no A/C.

Was it worth it? I believe so. Eventhough it's daily driven, I hardly ever have passengers and having the car as light as 2300lbs with 241whp on tap is a nice feeling.

EDIT: added pics

^I think I might go with something like that for now. I did have the carpet out for a little while along with the sound deadening and I lived with it. I ended up putting it back in because it helped insulate the car during the winter, lol.

Being all motor, I can feel a difference in the car with my tool box and jack in the trunk compared to it being empty. It feels like a completely different car with passengers. Just loud as could be and barely going anywhere.
