Well then, how much would it cost to fix it? If your mechanic would put it in then I think that it's worth it. If all you need is 5th gear replaced and everything else looks good then that would be a low cost option for you. Lets put our heads together and figure out an affordable solution to you keeping the B13. I really don't wanna see you get rid of her. Besides if you get the Swift and something breaks on it you still have to fork up the bucks to fix it, may cost more to repair it. Wish you were closer, we would have figured this out by now...

it always seems like the grass is grwener on the other side, but what ppl forget is the grass still needs to be cut. and like blue said if something breaks on that swift could be worse to fix than the ser

You can find clean rust free sentra 1.6's or 2.0's. You just have to look at the southern states. Your in Missouri which is not that far away from the south.

If you want the B13 you'll be patient to find a clean shell. The suzuki sounds cool but I'd rather have the 2.0 power.

Whats the rear suspension like on that Suzuki? If you can put wider tires on it, get an lsd for it, and the suspension design is equal or better than the b13 then the Suzuki would probably dominate a b13 at the road course. Of course if you up the power.

SER's are a dime a dozen, Swifts are not. I'd do the trade for the Swift(if it was turbo) & buy myself another SER down the line.

I'm with Blusteelsr20. The only thing making you really contemplate this swap is the 5th-gear issue in your B13 transmission?

Keep the SE-R and get a working B14 tranny for (relatively) cheap in our Classifieds. Three to four hundred bucks....

Have your Suzuki mechanic buddy help you install it.

Further....

No AC? How hot is it in MO? On anything but a dedicated, trailered track car, that is a deal breaker for me. No AC, no way in Houston. Not even for a track toy. Swamp-ass on the way to the track, swamp-ass all the way around the track, and swamp-ass all the way home? No way for this old man.

The swift honestly dont need the swap on the motot. Its got all the goodies to boost it. Im keepin the classic bcuz in a pinch it would b a livable DD and i love the body style. I want a hatch real bad. But ill pick a hatch i rwally want in the future. Another ef or eg is what ill get down the road

Not in clean shape like the one he owns. B13's in clean and I mean clean shape are not a dime a dozen anymore. They are becoming very hard to find.

One of the reasons I would get a swift is not to be like everyone else ... 7 lbs on a gti block would be very reliable and fukin fast ... Traction will be ur enemy but ull have a smile on ur face while it's roasting the tires through 4th gear running high 12' low 13's
