my advice, a few times a month grab a few good cd's and go out for a ride. ride around aimlessly and just think about whats been going on, ya know.

I say stick it out and see if you get back into the swing of things if you have time i have 2 kids and all kinds of responsibility but i still keep my car for me i could never get rid of it ever i dont think

I'm going to do the vacuum lines first and see if that helps my lazy bov. Then I might add the mbc if I can borrow my friend's wideband.

Ya Strat I should ride out more. The next few days should be perfect for boost. Cool and clear.

New vacuum lines over the weekend. I think the BOV line was crushing under pressure because its so crisp now.

Boost controller went in today and I took it for a ride. Waited for the oil to get warm. It was supposed to be set for stock boost so I hit it on the on-ramp and Holy 16 psi! Hit like a train and I let off. Tried it again and let off at 12. Pulled over. 1.5 turns loose and its steady at 9psi holds through 6k. I'll leave it there till I dyno.

Battery died over the weekend. Any suggestions? I need some space in there and no need to start in Winter.

That intercooler looks familiar Benny. If it were me, I'd just keep it cleaned and garaged. You might not get as much for it as you would like, and it might be cheaper to keep it for yourself and use it as a summer/fair weather car.

Is that your IC? I have tried to remember who's it was? Its a good little unit. Unfortunately garaged isn't an option.

Yeah I have no AFR. I have borrowed a wideband and the AFRs for this tune on the dyno were ~10.5-10.9. Don't know what it was doing @16psi but it felt awesome.... of course my buddy's 280z felt awesome back in the day. He was all "My brother just snipped this hose and now its a rocket." We all know how that story ends.

the ecu should go to overly rich outside of the tuned boost portion of the map. which is good, how long of hose did you go with on your mbc line.

I just spliced the MBC into the line between comp housing and wg actuator. I zip tied the mbc to the tab on the catch can that holds the stock O2 sensor. I'll shoot a pic.

1) Odyssey PC680 and a bracket (unless you fab your own). I purchased both items from Marcos at the Go Fast Depot.

2) Battery tender (or trickle charger). I got one at Sears, about $25 or so. Park the car, plug in the charger, and you can leave it indefinitely.

It is a very easy way to get some extra pounds off the nose-heavy fwd vehicle.
