my dream car
hey, i got the car a few months ago...is a 93 se-r ...the car looks great,and runs good....need paint, but i have 1 or 2 question...1, who had it told me that he installed the abs system but the light is on....2, the enginehas to much wires janging.....im first on these cars. can anybody help.....thank in advance.....

I think you're saying that the guy who sold it the installed the ABS, it runs fine, but the ABS light is on, is that right? If so, did it not have ABS at first or was it replaced? Do the brakes act funny? Uneven braking? Kicking in at weird times?

It sounds like a hackjob, which makes me wonder what's going on with your ABS. It may be a sensor and not have anything to do with your brakes at all. Could you possibly describe the wires hanging, or even better, take pictures?

for the abs light....check your brake fluid and make sure its topped off. if its low this is very likely your problem. but also, if your brake fluid is low, check your brake pads and see how much meat they have on them.

the guy who had the car said that it hadthe abs but the previus owner remove it so he installed back up......but the light is on and the brakes feel funny...and i think that somes of the cable hanging are for the abs.......

why would anyone install abs back in. Stay away from that car wiring problems are the worst thing ever.
