Wiring harness question
I'm looking at buying the main wiring harness of an se-r to put in my LE sedan because I am assuming (key word) that this will mate to the sr20de engine harness. Am I correct in this assumption?
I am a bit of a newbie, so these questions may seem ridiculous. I also bought the se-r dash cluster to swap in and I'm hoping this main harness is all I'll need to get it working with the ecu and such.
I've heard that it is not always this easy though since some harness actually go through eachother and must be snipped to be seperated, and if this is the case I could be looking at doing some rewiring.
Any clues hints or suggestions welcome, thank you.
EDIT: Crap, so I've been browsing a bit more and looking at cluster swaps and everybody I see has theirs with the plastic connectors in and the wires still hanging off cut down farther.
I unplugged all the connectors and decided to cut the wires going to the tacho because I couldn't get the sensor to unplug. Is this thing useless or will a main wiring harness have all the connectors I need?
