"Beware the Classic"

Nissan SE-R
Its roar to redline is sound
Seeming limitless

Revolutions climb
As one shifts through the gearbox
Craving more power

Driving relentless
Across the tarmac has no
True comparison

Every turn precise
The sheer grip keeps one planted
Viscously to ground

Its driver is awed
Engineering is precise
Every point balanced

Race bred but subtle
Its design meant to beguile
Beware the classic

B13, A Feel Like No Other

Ballads will be sung and poems written
About Nissan's SE-R that will have smitten
With excitement, fun, and pure enthusiasm
To give all the owners a taste of realism.

The B13 chassis has a feel like no other
Making driving feel closer than a brother.
From hugging corners to grocery getting
You will find no other car like it im betting.

With turbo parts, VE's, and nitrous waiting
The SR20 is there to take the beating.
Whether road or drag racing
All the losers will think your cheating.

Ah, the Sentra SE-R and all the glory
All the owners with a different story.
From the supportive interior and boxy exterior
The car and its owners are far superior.

The Sentra requires a different type of owner
One that has personality, taste, and style.
The owners love to be unique and different
As they rip through the gears with a smile.

The Soul of Nissan's B13 SE-R lives on forever
Even through rust and dreaded 5th gear popout.
So get in your Sentra and drive whenever,
And know you will never be called a copout

Long live the Sentra SE-R

"ODE TO THE LAST BOLT"
Ode to the 'Last Bolt'.

As with all projects I plan and work, with renewed vigor.

I see you, my last bolt, I work around you knowing that you're going to be
a booger.

Bolt 1, 2,3 and 4 all fall to my new strength I'm working with a fever.

I grab my wrench and with a smile all puffed up with confidence bigger
than ever.

A grunt and groan, there you are not moving, not even a millimeter.

As we stare each other down I know you're coming out cause I am a
fighter.

Yes, you're the reason saws alls, torches, and band aids were invented.

A billion dollar industry was created just for you my 'last bolt'.

As progress stops..... just to think of new ways to remove you, quicker
and faster.

I see your rust covering you like a winter blanket of honor.

I spray you with lube, fire you with the torches.... still nothing.

You won't move, turn or twist like a woman scorned.

I cuss, I bleed, I beg, I even flirt, to get you to move but nothing.

Like a cow in the middle of road taking her sweet time.

I look like a deer in the lights covered with blood, sweat and tears
running out of time.

After hours, even days and nine saw blades, you fall with a fight to the
bittter end.

As I dance the jig and raise my hands in victory, I reach down, pick you up
like Caesar conquering the world!

.....till the next 'last bolt'.

special note from author:
I wrote this poem while working on our 3rd white B-13 Se-R.
I was trying to remove the last bolt of the rear suspension.

"My Elusive Unicorn"
"Oh" my little unicorn illustrious and true,
Like most things worth it..
Ive been searching the world, for you,

Your Comparison? Has no peers,
Your Grace? Timeless it'll last for years,
Your Engine? Reliable, starts time after time,
Your Body? Gorgeous, as my eyes gaze on every line,

To some, you were their first car,
Gave no problems so you stayed in the family,
To some, who love your simplicity,
You were sweeter then candy,

Then there's, some out there
who cant wait, to awaken a giant,
who feel there a couple bolt-on's away,
from unleashing a power, that's frightening,

Weather its headers or cams,
crank shafts or pistons,
the growl of a b13,
can make anybody listen,

They say outdated, but we say classic,
basically theres not a car around that could match this,
so the next time you see a b13,
i dare you to ask this,

When you gaze upon the unicorn,
that many have been searching for,
Not abused, Not Damaged,
But one that you can consider yours,

Naturally Aspirated..Neo VVL's ya friend,
hearing them 2 separate cams engage again after again,
paired with the light chassis,
it can make any of our competition cringe,

The DE is perfect for boost,
if you know what your doing,
big turbo spooling,
will get any classic moving,

so go to your neighborhood track,
and look in amazement,
mustangs, corvettes, hondas,
and everything else your facing,

Dont feel so jealous,
Cause your unicorn is eager,
to take on all new comers,
regardless how many liters,

Greatest car of all time,
which maker is deemed worthy,
Porsche? Bmw? Mazda? Honda?
Nah, I'll go with the one that made the B13

Poem Title: If Ever There Was
Poem:

It can’t be described, only felt in dreams;
A car that would do, just what it deems;

A hairpin turn, without so much as a glance;
Topping the redline, when it had the chance;

A road trip in comfort, or a quick run to the store;
It always knows, that you’ll come back for more;

Year after year, it will just go and go;
It’s true value and worth, SE-R drivers know;

If ever there was such a beautiful car;
It’s the Nissan Sentra SE-R;

Poem Title: Untitled

As I sit here looking out my window
I notice things have changed.
The trees are different.
The people too.
New smells enter my world and remind
Me of my childhood.
The radio is playing, and I am happy.
I am anticipating the future.
It makes me nervous and causes my hands
To shake uncontrollably.
This is a good feeling.
I am waiting for something to happen
Outside of my window.
The view changes as time passes.
Hopefully some time soon it will show
Me what I want to see.
Listen! An intrusion has unbalanced
My world.
I can no longer look through my window.
What if I miss the chance to see it?
What if I have to start all over again?
I am not ready to accept that sort of
defeat.
I right myself and continue my static
quest, moving my arms and legs in the
methodical dance of my people.
I know this will work.
I have done it before.
It will work as long as I don't get
Interupted too severely, in which case
I'd have to hope for a miracle to
Carry me past the window to join
The scene for which I have waited
My entire life.

A quick Haiku entitled “The Source”

My SE-R is
The source of much happiness
When I take hot laps

Sentra

Playing favorites in little spheres
Round earth’s corners down the years
A revolution without the mess
A warrior’s heart in civil dress

The gods do smile on humble things
And plant great strength in small machines
And laugh out loud when the lowly wins
And sum up parts with mathematical whim

The battle to the strong and the race to the swift!
A SER-prise may come and create a rift
And cut a line that could not be guessed
And playfully smile at all the rest
