Hmmm did you ever have a GTiR intercooler front mounted on that car way back in the day???

Yep,that's when I first did it. I had the chrome cover and everything on there. It was a budget build but it ran low 12s all day.

Aha i knew it!!!! You had carribean flag colors painted on the intercooler too correct? Man talk about coming a long way shit dude i remember that car from when there was only SE-R.net and internet was dial up i wish i still had my old computer that was my wallpaper matter of fact i still have my back up cd with that pic on there lol. Back in those days i had a white B13 SE and used to day dream about owning a SE-R and look at me now on my 7th one lol. Congratulations man you have silently been my mentor for years and didnt even know it.

Yeh that was vinyl tape on the grill. That was when I really had fun with the car.
I'm glad I played a role in getting you into these cars bro. That's what this forum is all about, motivating others to take the next step.

Nice Classic!

One question, I see that black cover on the Negative terminal of the battery. Is that OEM? I think is the first time I see one. If "yes", I will like to find one.

I enjoy the car too much when its actually running great with no issues to give up. I think especially rob when you get yours to the point of driving it and being able to put the hammer down and feel that power and hear that awesome sound of the 6262 i doubt you will feel youre done with it. Especially if there is a setback that makes you have to fix or upgrade to keep driving it i can honestly say youll fix it or keep upgrading so you can enjoy it again. Its a passion. It doesnt just walk away.

Trust me. If you dont think im tired of setbacks and putting money into a 21 year old car youre far mistaken. But that doesnt stop me from doing what i love. Setbacks happen. Nothing i could of done to really prevent them at this level. You learn from them and do what you can to keep the same thing from happening again.

I don't think it's about loosing passion it's just that when you get it to the point that it's running great without any issues you just want to enjoy what you spent all your hard earned money on over the years.
I don't want to beat her up anymore. I have another project in the makings but that will be track only. I'm just leaving the Sentra as is since i'm satisfied with it.

True, but if its one of your only toys then it makes sense you would "beat on it" and when you do things break, and you have to fix them to keep driving it. That is why I do what I do. I have no other hobbies, no other passions besides my family and what my daughter is wanting to do and my wife enjoys (at least tries to) my passion as well as her own thing. People like to give me a hard time when stuff breaks. Well its not breaking because im taking a shortcut, or skimping out on anything, its just something that happens when you beat on a 4 cylinder thats making this kind of power. This isnt no childs play stuff. If you dont have the heart or funds for it, stick to n/a or little 350hp turbo setups.

I beat on my car, I beat on it from the moment I feel its ready to be beat on. Breakin....pff couple heat cycles and its good to go in my eyes. Im not hear to baby it although I do enjoy just driving it and crusing it without even having to full throttle beat off the rev limiter it. But my main thing was for it to perform and at this level, stuff breaks....And yes, stupid stuff breaks and it gets frustrating but its part of the love for it.
