according to the actual rules of the forum I technically earned a perma ban..

but it was for creating a new profile after I was banned for a week, and the reason I was banned for a week was bogus....

this one guy on there is ALWAYS poking fun at people, and people laugh..

i would poke fun back at the guy and he couldn't take it.. so they banned me for a week.. (this was on top of them just not liking my brash opinionated comments, especially about politics) - but the "reason" was my making threads to make fun of the guy.. anyway.. he cried about it and I got banned, along with this girl who was on the forum too.. I created a new userID and got back on there and then they perma-banned me..

Hah. The Maxima has been down since I lost third and forth gear. Before that one I had a VG 3rd gen that I sold to my cousin- and a wrecked 5-spd VE I stole the transmission from and all the parts to do the swap. Life got in the way for a while, and well, now I have a couple big tupperware containers with a bunch of rusted transmission parts. Most of the main parts were sealed (fortunately the transmission), but it set me back about $400 or so, plus it needs a bunch of front end chassis work too. The Sentra is mechanically in better condition and cheaper to work on so it makes sense she is my DD.

Also, I vaguely remember something like that going down on the Org- and I think I know exactly who you're talking about. They're a bit harsh on newcomers who aren't used to forum etiquette- but it sounds like you just messed with the wrong 'mod' or something. ohwells.

Thanks, Nissan really knew what they were doing in the early 90's. Miles ahead of the competition in terms of price range. I bought it with 122k and it has 129,xxx now. The SE-R was listed on craigslist and I took the drive up to Jacksonville beach to take a look. The owner was an obvious non-enthusiast and knew very little about the car, and was unaware that it was an SE-R or what that even meant. I bought it on a whim and couldn't even take the car home with me until the following day after I was good and sick with buyers remorse- frantically looking on craigslist of what I could have bought instead. But that cool February morning, on that hour ride home the next day it really gave me time to connect. Through the windy wooded backroads it hit me- grinning ear to ear as the SR hummed happily and effortlessly in every gear, nimbly jaunting into corners. It's a great car with loads of potential and I'm truly happy with it- I'm excited about seeing what I can do with it.

heh, i wasn't a newb at that point.. i had been around for 3 or 4 years by the time I was banned... Alex aka "Donkey" is who i was talking about in my post to Shawn... and I also said some things about British folk to SprintMax.... he sort of owned the site back in the day, I don't know if he still does..

but I'm glad I was banned, I learned about BMW's .. got an M3 and a 740iL after that.. and a G35 sedan too.. the 3rd Gen is probably the only Maxima I'd entertain buying again at this point.

Its a 350z tow hook thats been mounted to the bumper suport and reinforced with a 1/8 thick plate behind it so its not for just show .

Watch who your calling orange wheels Mr SuperblackZ ! I like my orange wheels but would never do another one off color. Here is my reasoning... I paid a ton of money to have my wheels media blasted then powdercoated silver first and then the cashmere copper afterwards as the copper color is transparent so any imperfection would of shown through. So I do all that and have had them looking good for about 3 years.

So I am driving through town and see a black Integra sitting low on guess what... orange wheels. So as I pull through the intersection I just stare at him and shake my head. I am just gonna not do anything original again as someone will just copy it. I don't care if someone in NY has orange wheels or in CA but in the same town? I know he saw mine and copied that shit so all the wheels I purchase in the future will be be black.
