Okay folks this is what my 1991 FSM says on page RA-14 under Service Data and Specifications.....

Stabilizer Bar:
SR20: 15 mm
GA16DE (except STD models): 10 mm

See the "except STD models" note, STD=standard. This leads me to believe that the '91 E (standard model) did not have a rear sway bar from the factory.

My 1992 FSM says the exact same thing on page RA-13.

that would explain the 2 E models i've seen not havin sway bars since they were 91 / 92 i know they dont have the mounting point for the end link on the strut but i should look to see if they dont have the other mounting point also.. i'll look an report back when my friend gets back

DMP316, check that the VIN# stamped on the firewall in the engine compartment and the VIN# on the dash plate match.

Damien, I have a stock rear bar you can get for a smalls. I will even give you the modified end links with bushings. All you need is the brackets.

I don't know man, if there aren't any holes to mount the brackets that's more than just some lazy slob on the production line.

Could they have used the wrong chassis??? That would be a major F up!

Maybe you are really driving an "E" with all the SE-R parts (minus rear bar) swapped in!!
