Thread: 3rd gear pop out

I'm thinking about purchasing another B13 Se-R. The owner said that it pops out of 3rd. Has anyone experienced this? What is the cheapest fix?

Cheapest fix would be replacing it with a used transmission.

definately a used tranny 300-400 bucks....golden

or you could just take the trans apart and replace 3rd gear and the synchro. I spent the money to get my 5th gear pop out fixed in my trans, because i didn't want to find a used tranny that might pop up with the same problem later on.
