Thread: new b13 ser owner

Hello i recently bought this sentra, the previous owner tried installing an intake but i dont think he did it right, there are a few open holes that i have no idea where they go, i took a couple pictures maybe you guys can help me out.
On this one the distributor has a connector on the top, it kinda looks like a speaker connector... is this for a ground? or its supposed to be like this disconnected?


on this one, you can see all the tape, is this the original stock intake? because it seems like the MAF is being held by tape and covering some leaks.


and on this one you can see the one coming out from the valve cover is open and the other one in the black box close to the exhaust manifold is also open.. where can i route/cover/ these to?

no one? does the pvc black box need to be covered? i know i can re rout the crankcase pressure outlet to the intake..
and does the distributor need a ground in that connection or what?

yeah the wire is for a ground and usually you can put a small breather filter on the pvc box outlet.
