Thread: wind sheild wiper HELP!!!

i have a huge problems on the wind sheild wipers! is not normal to just pull on them and use it manualy with my free hands!?! i have no idea how to fix this problem! im guessing that its the little object to the passangerside of the car, the lonely object in the left corner!? sorry but i dont know the name of it. ill post pictures soon! need any kind of help THANKS!!

the "object" in the left corner is the wiper motor, and no, it has nothing to do with that. your problem is the wiper linkage.......its a series of plastic ball joints and metal rods.

pull the plastic off, aka "wiper cowl", and check it out...i but money one is popped off. the ball joint of it is more than likely worn out. go to a junk yard and find any sentra or nx2k from 91 to 99 where you can not pull the ball joints apart with moderate force and take the entire wiper linkage assembly.
