Thread: B13 Sentra clear headlight lens

After coming across that thread with the halo projectors I've been thinking more about retro-fitting them into the OEM B13 housings. There was somebody with a P10 that did this and the beam still was pretty good and gave better lighting of the road, and since I do lots of night driving I'm all about seeing better at night.

So I wanted to see from other people if there is interest if I made clear plastic lenses. All I would have to do is make the new lens then install the projector and then we have nice projector headlights and no flutes on the headlights distorting the beam pattern. I am in the process of making a mold for mine which is the 91-92 style. If it works well or if there are more people interested I can make more then eventually try to do the 93-94 style.

I was interested and I didn't think the thread I saw got much attention and I wanted more opinions if people would be interested.

Forgot to mention, I could do these with smoked or even bronze plastic to have the smoked look kinda like the tsurus.

I'd buy the lens w/o the projector.

I would be totally down, provided they are not overpriced.

The price of the projectors would be the worst part, plus if you wanted me to put everything together would be a little more too.

This project might be delayed, unless someone wanted to fund it, because I blew my motor last night.

so how much are u planing to charge for the wholething

I haven't looked into it recently. If I can come up with a mold I can make clear or smoked lenses and make eyelids too. Otherwise the cost of the HID projector retro fit which is $150-200, but if you didn't want that I can just get the lenses which I know would be under $100.

Until I get a chance to look into it i can't nail down a price. The price also goes up if I am assembling everything too.

Old thread and all but what happened to this? I would really like some clear lenses, as I'm retrofitting projectors in the stock headlights in my '91 Sentra(and I love my square headlights)

I was going to do it, but then finances and other things got in the way. Personally, my car her been sitting in garages since about the end of 2009 unless i get inspired this year.

i'll update it if i eventually do this.
