Thread: Got into my car for the first time

Hey guys, I've had the B13 for about a month now. Today I finally had a chance to get into it, took it to red line through 3rd and I was really impressed. It pulls hard and I can really feel the horsepower difference in the higher rpms (thanks to the s4 cams). I had a 96 B14 and it didn't pull nearly as hard as the B13 does. What are some things I can do to get more hp without going turbo? Its got a jdm sr20 swap, CAI, headers, full 2.5" exhaust, JWT pop charger.

What kind of headers do you have? You could try for some "budget" headers from Charles.

You've done a lot of the usual things. You could port and/or polish the intake manifold and head if you'd like.

You could really open her up with some engine management. There's probably a lot of power left on the table you could harness with some timing/fuel adjustments.

Oh, also, install Linux on that baby. It'll run real quick even on the old hardware.

Aluminum lightened pulleys. UR G-spec whatever.

Light flywheel.

Install Linux, lol, It would be cool if you could somehow put a Linux OS on the ECU. I do have autochrome SS headers. Different pulleys will be my next mod, and removing the AC system as well.

Lightweight flywheel makes a very big difference, at least in my case.

Appears that Fidanza is a good lightweight flywheel.
