What should I offer him?
A guy down the street from me has a '91 or '92 SE-R sitting in his front yard. It's been sitting there and hasn't moved since I found it a few years ago. The car needs some work, specifically in the area of body work and paint. (he drove it through a barb wire fence) I have offered him cash for it at least a couple times, and each time he tells me that "it's my project, I have plans".

I want to make him an offer he can't refuse. What shall it be?

Stay on him. These are desperate times with the way the economy is and all.

Go make an offer and flash cash. That usually sums up the deal...

I figured $250 just to see what he says. I don't know the mileage at the moment. I don't really care if it needs some work to be road worthy. It would be my daily driver. Next week when I get paid, I'm going to drive over there and flash some money.

We need more info. How many miles on the motor? Does it have 5th gear popout? We also need pics. Plus, how much have you offered him thus far?

A few years ago when we first found it, I think I offered him $500. It's in pretty rough shape, and he said it ran when he parked it. I'll get more info when I head over there next weekend.
