Good luck with the Mazda. I guess you're going to be ditching your creeper then?

I've had this problem since day one. I still do. Thanks, the Mazda's ok. I think it runs and behaves like I expected my B13 to run, but sadly it's an autostick. It's still better than full auto, but it's not the same.

And I thought nobody found my creeper amusing. But yes, I've had to ditch and replace it multiple times because of the leak in the trunk...moldy wet cardboard doesn't last long. Don't worry though, whenever I change my oil or anything on the Mazda, the creeper will ride again. Family tradition.

Thanks Ben. You've been an enormous help all this time, even when I thought I might've started to annoy you. It's a long story, really. In a nutshell, though, the plan was to sell my '01 Blazer and use that against a cash purchase with a 1-2k loan from my bank to get an '02-'03 SpecV. The Blazer sale fell through and the '02 I had my eye on sold, so I started looking for others, and found this '91 for $1800. I came here looking for research and here I am.

Fast forward to now, I just started 3 weeks ago working for Honda Financial Services and can afford a car payment. I started looking for an '02-'06 SpecV again, but as a first time buyer with virtually no credit, the places that had any good ones couldn't get me a better deal than about 20% down and 15% financing. I had better luck going for a newer car from a bigger lot armed with some cash down and a cosignor.

An old beat up sentra isn't for everyone. Its a lot of work, time, money, and hassle to come out with a decent product. If its your first sentra then it especially sucks if it isn't in the best shape to begin with. Its easy to get burned out when you have to spend money just to get it halfway safe, and back to stock. Good luck with the Mazda. Hopefully you can return with a nicer b series.

Thanks man. I will miss it, that's for sure. I sold it today. Although sad, it's a bit liberating. It was fun, but it sure did make me its bitch. Maybe I'll have better luck when I'm better positioned and have another platform from whence to move forward. I wouldn't mind a B15 Spec V.
