That's the plan.

Since I learned about the free, mod-your-own technique, it's a completely viable second option. You've already been told about it.
The diy mod exactly what I wanted to investigate. I know next to nothing about shift linkages, therefore, I'd need more info on how to do this. Is there a writeup on it somewhere? Free and designed by Nissan already sounds better than aftermarket.

I'm throwing a CEL for it (11, I think). I know next to nothing about this either. I did just find an electronic FSM I'll be reading through soon to learn as much as I can.

Good to know. It seems that what the NX lacked in more refined styling compared to the SER (at least in my eyes), it made up for with cooler stuff. Center console, better brakes, better radiator. I am thinking of boosting in later years. Maybe I'll just wait on upgrading the radiator until I'm in a position to do that.

Sounds good. I based my plan off reading that 12" fans help the A/C work better. I'll be doing further reading when I'm looking for these.

Thanks for the tip. I'm guessing they bite and hold better?

For whatever reason, I've always thought the pyramid thing was pretty cool. That and my current boot is in sad, sad shape, worn out like it had been used as a wind sock on the antenna, and I'm not 100% sure it's the stock one. I'll consider my options if I can make one myself for cheaper than it would cost to rustle up the pyramid. I'll consider replacing the e-brake handle with something a little more stylish if I do that, too.

That'd be perfect. I'm basically looking for something black, leather or suede, three spokes, clean and simple. This'll again see further research when it comes time to buy it.

I've been poking around, but I haven't really been too convinced by what I've seen as far as E30 wheels. Those wheels look pretty nice, man. Would they have those in 15 x 6.5? It's a bit more per wheel than I'd be looking for, but they're probably better quality and lighter weight.

Haha thanks. I'm thinking of spending around $475 or less for a new set. If I can do a real tire within that price range, let me know.
